spacetornado Renamer will rename multiple files using any or all of the following four operations:

Replace Text

Remove Characters

Change Case

Add Text Read below for more information and screenshot examples of each rename operation.

Replace Text
Search for text in the source filenames and specify text with which to replace the search text.
For example, if you have many files with filenames like "Jane's Image 01.jpg", "Jane's Image 02.jpg", etc., you could use the Replace Text feature to change the filenames to "Suzie's Image 01.jpg", "Suzie's Image 02.jpg", and so on.

Remove Characters
Remove a certain number of characters from each filename, starting a certain number of characters from the left or the right of the filename.
For example, if you had hundreds of files with filenames like "(Midi)001 Song.mid", "(Midi)002 Music.mid", "(Midi)003 piano.mid", etc, you could use the Remove Characters feature to remove the "001 ", "002 ", "003 ", and so on.
